METHOD → Pre heat oven to 375. ![]() → In a small bowl, mix the flour and 1 tsp of the tumeric and 1/4 tsp of the kosher salt. Sprinkle the mixture over the chicken pieces. → Heat 2 tbsp oil in a a medium-large pot to medium high and add the chicken. Cook for about 5 minutes then turn over for another 5 minutes. Your looking to get a nice golden sheen to the chicken skin. → Transfer the chicken pieces to a separate plate and set aside. → Reduce the pan heat to medium and add the rest of the oil (2 tbs). Add the shallots and garlic and cook for 3-4 minutes. Then add the creme, dijon mustard, pepper, thyme and remaining kosher salt (1/2 tsp) and remaining tumeric (1/2 tsp). → Bring to a simmer then add the chicken pieces to the pan. → Transfer the pan to the oven and cook until an instant read thermometer reads 160 degrees in the thickest part of the chicken (about 30 minutes). → Remove pan from oven and let sit a few minutes before serving.
